People with a learning disability who are carers

People with a learning disabilities can be carers. You may care for a parent, a partner or even a grandparent.

You may do things like cooking, gardening, shopping or even helping someone go to bed or have a bath.

Mutual care is when two people help each other. One person may be good at paying the bills and writing letters and the other person might do more practical things like shopping and cooking.
